Every three months, we welcome a new cohort of founders into our shared spaces for the upcoming term. If you’d like to join the Celery community in-store, please complete our quarterly application. Existing members can renew their current space without reapplying.

We review every application carefully based on fit and availability, but please note that submitting an application does not guarantee placement.

From application to on-shelf: how it works

the ambassador Program

Our Ambassador Program is where emerging founders level up. As an Ambassador, you’re not just “working the floor” — you’re on the front lines of your own brand: talking to customers, seeing what sells, and testing product in real time, all while keeping your costs low.

Ambassadors receive a discounted membership rate and a reduced commission on sales, so more of every transaction goes back into your business.

MEMBERSHIP FAQS

  • Once you submit your application, our team carefully reviews it to determine the best fit for our Celery community. Applications open two months before the start of each term, and placement decisions are finalized one month prior to the term’s start. If selected, we’ll reach out to discuss your placement and next steps. Keep an eye on your inbox—we’re excited to connect with you!

  • We’re looking for fresh, innovative products that wow our customers—think quality, creativity, and standout presentation. From handmade goods to curated collections, we love supporting brands with a unique vision. While we’re open to many styles, we avoid bulk-manufactured imports and dropshippers to maintain the integrity of our spaces. If you’re unsure, apply anyway—we’d love to see what you bring to the table!

  • Each term at Celery Retail runs for three months. Our seasonal schedule is:

    • Spring: February 1 – April 30

    • Summer: May 1 – July 31

    • Fall: August 1 – October 31

    • Holiday: November 1 – January 31

    These dates ensure a fresh rotation of brands and opportunities each season.

  • If your application is selected, our team will reach out to you via email with placement options and next steps. We’ll keep you updated throughout the process, so be sure to check your inbox! If we’re unable to place you this term, don’t worry—you’ll be added to our waitlist for future opportunities.

  • Membership fees start at just $50/month, with pricing varying based on the space, term, and location. Additionally, our Ambassador Program offers discounts for vendors who contribute to the day-to-day operations of our spaces. Detailed pricing and Ambassador opportunities are provided during the application process.

  • We charge a 20% commission on sales to cover the costs of maintaining the space, staffing, and supporting your brand’s success. This ensures we can provide the best possible environment for your business to thrive.

  • Absolutely! We welcome new businesses and love supporting brands at every stage of their journey. Our spaces are designed to help you test your products, connect with customers, and grow your business in real life. If you’re just getting started, don’t hesitate to apply—we’re excited to see what you’re building!

  • Yes! We offer short-term pop-ups for brands looking to showcase their products without committing to a full term. These pop-ups are $250 per day and require a brand representative to be present throughout the duration of the event. It’s a fantastic way to connect with customers and test the market. Please send an email to stores@celeryretail.com if you are interested. 

  • No, you don’t have to be local! Our team handles daily operations and sales for you, so you can participate no matter where you’re based. If you’re not nearby, you have the option to ship your products directly to us for setup and replenishment.

  • At Celery Retail, we focus on championing and empowering growing brands by providing a platform to connect with customers. We don’t invest in products directly—we invest in the people behind them. Our mission is to support your journey as an independent brand. You set your pricing, manage your inventory, and keep ownership of your brand, while we provide a dedicated in-store space and the support to sell IRL.
